Waggon Road, Leven
Waggon Road derives it's name from the Waggonway
that ran its length in the early years of the 19th century(and
possibly earlier). This carried coals from the collieries on the
Durie Estate to Leven Harbour. Horsedrawn bogies ran on wooden
rails. It went out of use sometime before 1850
