High Street, East, Leslie
Many of these buildings have been demolished. The
Burghers Close, between the two houses on the right with gable ends
facing the street, led to the Burghers Church. The rounded building
further down the street is thought to have been the jail, known as
the "Black Hole". The buildings on the left were demolished in the
late 1950's to make way for the present day houses called the Barony.
