Harbour, Cellardyke
The fluctuating roof lines of the harbourhead
illustrate changing centuries and fortunes. The dormer windowed
blocks date from the late nineteenth century and replaced low roofed,
seventeenth to eighteenth century houses with forestairs, like the
one in the middle of the street. The houses on the far right were
built on the site of a ruin between 1904 and 1907
