TESTIMONIALS
(Original letters sent by e-mail to Donald
Manson)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the Fife Death Index and
all the hard work done by everyone to put this together. It is a
wonderful tool for putting together all my Howie families from Ceres!
It's the best thing I've ever bought!

Hi Don, Many thanks for Fife Death Index CD-ROM, received in post
this morning (Wednesday). You and the Fife FHS are to be
congratulated on such a magnificant tool for family history research.
I now know why I had trouble finding my 2x great-grandmother in
the 1851 census - she died in childbirth on 18th January 1846 when my
great-grandmother was born. It also explains why the family was all
split up in 1851. I have had great fun with the wildcards to help
identify odd spellings.
My wife was also delighted to find two deaths of her ancestors in
Fife - the notes giving precise details under relation 'Jas Scot
(Capt of Minerva)' gives no doubt as to the correct identity.
With best wishes, Peter Milne, Member No. 993.

Dear Don
Received the CD today and had my first "play" this evening. What
I found tonight alone is worth the money for the CD. Very simple to
use and again we are indebted to you all for all your hard work. God
bless you mate! I must drag myself away from it now and get to bed or
I'll need matchsticks in the morning.
Kind regards
Joyce Hill

Dear Mr. Manson,
I purchased the above cd-rom last week and as agreed, I am
writing to let you know my results.
I was lucky enough to find details on 10 of my Stocks' ancestors
and info on 5 more that I did not know existed.
Regards,
James Stocks
