Statement from ex website administrator

This is no longer the official site for the Fife Family History Society therefore please amend your records. All the data from this site has been taken and posted onto a new site and copyrighted. The owner of this site, the previous website administrator of the above society having been sacked from the post deems no further additions will be made to this site. It has been a pleasure starting this site and adding to it until it grew to be a very successful site, it was with sadness that I discovered another committee member had been appointed to this position whilst my tenure still had 2 1/2 months to go, hence leaving on a sour note. I know those of you who don't know me will shake your head at this statement but those who do know me will know how passionately i cared about the work I have done, therefore to have this done behind my back has been very hurtful.

To those of you who I have had the privilege of chatting with or meeting, through this site in the past, I would like to thank you for all your kind words. Good luck to everyone in their quest for their family roots.

**30 August 2003 Fife Family History Fair see Bulletin Board below, Ministers of Fife Churches-pics(see below)**

The purpose of the society is to join together people with a common interest, the research of their families of a bygone era, who lived and worked in The KINGDOM(County) of FIFE, SCOTLAND. The Society produces a journal 3 times a year, which is sent out to all members. Our current journal has 78 pages of articles, information and family histories. On joining the Society, members are given the opportunity to list the surnames that they are currently researching, for inclusion in the next journal under our Members Interests' pages, which allows anyone researching similar names to make contact with a view to making a family connection. Please check out the Membership details and Society publications below. Thank you for taking the time to pay us a visit. Please feel free to e-mail us for further information.
